Who Can apply
The Path to Prosperity Foundation will provide individual grants under two programs: a scholarship program and an educational fgrant program to financially disadvantaged youth currently attending or matriculated primarily from, but not limited to, the following educational institutions: African Leadership University, New York University Abu Dhabi, Oxford University, Radley College, Semester at Sea, University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern California, Verbum Dei High School, and WestPoint.
Selection Criteria
Recipients will be selected based on financial need, academic performance, leadership potential, curiosity, courage, and character traits indicative of a person who is already engaged in their community and will give back and perpetuate the desired outcomes and goals of the Foundation for their lifetime. Applicants may not apply for both a scholarship and a grant. Multiple applications from the same person will not be considered.
Application Timeline
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The Path to Prosperity Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to review applications.
Scholarships
Educational Grants
TPTPF's scholarship program will provide scholarship or fellowship grants to cover tuition & fees required for enrollment or attendance as well as books, supplies, fees and equipment required for courses of instruction at educational organization that meets the criteria in IRC Sec.170(b)(1)(A)(ii).
TPTPF's educational grant program will provide grants to be used for study at educational institutions not described in IRC Sec. 170(b)(1)(A)(iii), but allow grantees to achieve specific objectives, produce a report or similar product, or enhance capacity, skill or talent. Grant funding is provided to individuals to facilitate participation in programs that meet the vision and mission of TPTPF. Grant funds may be used for travel, accommodations, and per-diem spending for participants accepted into conferences, seminars, trainings, symposiums and other similar programs.
